Still raging until the end of January, the 2010 Seoul Photography Festival consists of free photo exhibitions around the thema "Returning Seoul to Seoul" :
- at the SeMa Gyeonghuigung Palace Annex : a new eye on the capital ("Seoul: above ground and underground"), plus a collection of books about photography ("Between the Books")
- at the SeMa Nam Seoul Annex : everyday life of Seoulites across generations and key moments ("Remember the Life")
For Seoul and photo lovers, the Gyeonghuigung expo should be coupled with a stop at the Seoul Museum of History : after Jongno and probably before Itaewon, this institution proposes an interesting focus on Gangnam then and now.
And if you want to pass by, beyond its annexes, the SeMa itself, you can also get a ticket for the colorful Chagall exhibition, which reminds me of one I saw a couple of years ago in Paris' Musee d'Art Moderne.
